ZeroBudget is a personal finance application developed by Araniosoft ("we", "us", "our"). Your privacy is our absolute priority.
We do not collect any personal data. All the information you enter into ZeroBudget is stored exclusively on your device (iPhone/iPad) using local storage (SwiftData). We have no access to your financial data, transactions, accounts, or budgets.
All your data is stored exclusively on your device. We do not use external servers, cloud databases, or third-party services to store your information. If you delete the app, all your data is permanently deleted.
Optional “Help us improve” survey. The app sends no data. From the logo menu you can choose to open a survey on our website (araniosoft.com). Answering it is voluntary. If you submit it, we store only your answers, the page language and the date; the survey does not ask for your email or your name. If you later choose to write to us, that email goes out from your own email app and is not part of the survey. Our system does not store your IP address, uses no cookies or analytics, and the survey is not linked to any data in your app. Answers are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure, our hosting provider. Please do not include financial data in your answers. To have your response deleted, write to soporte@araniosoft.com.
ZeroBudget lets you create manual backups of your data to transfer it between devices or restore it after reinstalling the app. Backups can be encrypted with a password you choose; we never have access to that password or to the contents of the backup. You decide where to store the file (iCloud Drive, AirDrop, local storage, etc.) — that decision is outside of ZeroBudget.
The Share transactions feature lets you export an account's transactions and voluntarily send them to another person via AirDrop, Mail or other means. The exported file contains financial data (dates, descriptions and amounts) in a readable format and is not encrypted — share it only with people you trust. You initiate and control the transfer; once shared, the file is outside ZeroBudget's control.
ZeroBudget may request access to your camera for the receipt scanning feature. Captured images are processed locally on your device using Apple's Vision technology and are never sent to any server.
ZeroBudget offers optional subscriptions for premium features. These purchases are processed exclusively through Apple's payment system (App Store). We have no access to your payment information or billing data.
ZeroBudget integrates with Apple's Siri and Shortcuts to add transactions by voice. These interactions are processed by Apple under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store data from your interactions with Siri.
ZeroBudget widgets access data stored locally on your device through Apple's App Groups. No data is transmitted to external servers.
ZeroBudget offers optional protection with Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode to protect access to the app. This authentication is handled entirely by Apple's operating system.
ZeroBudget is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the revised update date.
